PINK SHIRT DAY started in Canada in support of a Grade 9 boy who was bullied for wearing pink to school. To protest against this bullying, two teenage boys and their friends took a stand against bullying by showing up the next day wearing pink tank tops. Since 2007, the idea has grown and people around the world (~180 countries) have started their own anti-bullying fundraisers in support of Pink Shirt Day.

One type of bullying that not many people are aware of is food allergy bullying. Approximately 1/3 of children in the US (1/5 in Canada) living with food allergies have been bullied. Our very own graphic designer, who grew up with a severe nut allergy, had peanuts thrown at the school bus that she was on.

For Pink Shirt Day on February 27th, we are introducing our NEWEST DESIGN to help spread awareness of food allergy bullying. A percentage from the sale of each shirt will be donated to Red Sneakers for Oakley and Food Allergy Canada.
